The obvious limitation is that it doesn't support ALL apps, so it is complementary to any other system for managing serial numbers, but it is a work-in-progress which I would like to encourage.
My apps folder has 178 items, but many of these are free or App Store so would not be found by Product Key Finder, which says it has found 34 SNs and 76 potential SNs. Not sure what a potential SN is but there are more than 34 useful ones, so it has possibly found up to 110 of my 178. Enough to be useful, allowing for the ones that don't have SNs.
The shotgun mode finds more, including apps I have bought and uninstalled. The presentation in Shotgun mode is not very friendly. Running a Shotgun scan results in a request to share with developer for improvement. I usually do send support data to developers, as it is usually anonymous, but baulked at sending all my serial numbers and registration info.
The full price is maybe a bit steep at this stage, but its worth will vary for everyone.
